Richard, Sam, Nic and Toni enjoyed meeting all the principals and guests at the NZPF Conference. Our team gained valuable insight into how our product can help schools across Aotearoa. Our sustainable sporting tiles have clearly made an impact, with many principals signing up for follow-ups and quotes.
At the conference, we were able to understand further what our clients are looking for, as well as answer any burning questions.
We are proud to be the only supplier in New Zealand with sport flooring that creates identity, tackles sustainability head-on, improves your game and has a 10-year warranty. The only product on the market that is a great alternative to turf/astro.
1. Can you play in the rain?
All NexxtGrip tiles are specially designed with an open grid surface that provides a special anti-slip grip for all weather conditions. So in short... YES!
2. Will the tiles fade?
NexxtGrip tiles are made from Impact copolymer polypropylene plastic with special UV anti-colorant package against colour fading. The tiles will not fade!
3. What happens if a tile breaks?
Each tile is supported by 400 cross-posts which provide a stable base as well as vertical flex. Plus the interlocking system is designed to allow thermal expansion and contraction without causing the surface to buckle.
But in an unlikely event, a tile may break. Your school will be covered by the 10-year warranty. Not only are you covered, you only need to replace the tile that is broken, not the whole court.
4. Is this product covered by funding?
YES! Our dedicated team are here to help your school find the best solution. We have a great system in place and are ready to help your school achieve its sporting goals.
5. What is it like to maintain?
NexxtGrip tiles are the so easy to maintain! It is recommended to keep the surface free of leaves and grass clippings by using a leaf blower/water blaster. Every 2-3 years it may be necessary to pull up the tiles and sweep out any dirt or debris that may have accumulated under the tiles. Simple!
Raffle Winner
Sportclub (our parent company) ran a raffle to give away a FREE basketball unit. At the conference, we had our basketball unit on display, and we even got to shoot some hoops with principals and students. Basketball seems to be the hottest sport right now and we loved getting involved with some hoop action.
A massive congratulations to Burnham School and Principal Pauline Jansen for snapping up the prize. We hope your students (and staff) have the best time shooting hoops next term.
We look forward to growing our relationships with the schools we met and our extremely grateful for all the positive feedback and support.
Until next time sporty people!
